A full 2-day program themed to challenge participants to learn from colleagues across a range of disciplines and to be held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. Invited speakers from Europe, UK, USA, Canada and Australia including:

Research Themes Include:

• Inflammation and immunity in wound healing
• Systemic responses in wound healing
• Fibrosis and scarring

• Pre-clinical models of injury and repair
• Chronic wounds

Registration and abstract submission are now open; full registration and abstract submission details can be found on the conference website. Abstracts will be published in the quality journal, Wound Repair and Regeneration.

Closing date for podium/poster presentation selection is November 27, 2009.

The half day pre-conference Workshop/Master Class precedes the AWTRS 2010 meeting. Sessions will be informal and interactive - and offer extremely valuable insights into future directions of wound and tissue repair research.
